I can tell this was the case because a little research of reviews of the certain brand told me that they were cheaply made and almost toys, rather than authentic instruments. Anybody who had NOT been fooled by the advertising would have realized it right away. I was sure to tell my mom, then showed her my choice of ukulele, which was a more quality wooden pineapple uke with good reviews all around the internet and half off at the moment.
