Formed by Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi, their album is playful and makes listeners want to dance, even those who don't like to dance or know how to dance (which would be me). Their content is also beautifully inclusive of any listener, especially for those who are cis-gendered or of non heterosexual orientation. However, it doesn't mean straight individuals can't give their album a listen, they still have very relatable, cheesy, romantic loves songs with an age range of teens to young adults. Their music videos have a lot of artistic styles ranging from animations to dramatic representations to more abstract styles. I would highly suggest a listen to their album and also watching all of their music videos. A highly catchy song and a comedic video to watch. If we replaced Grassi and Hoying with female characters, it would just be an ordinary girls slumber party that's always shown in media. A snap shot from SUP3RFRUIT's video, "Hurry Up!" shows inclusivity as we have Grassi and Hoying go on blind dates with people who are interested in dating anyone who catches their interest, boy or girl. In my review I state that this is my favorite song (for now until I watch obsessively over another one of SUP3RFRUIT's music videos). The ranges of a high and low falsetto gives me tingles in my brain because this song is "sexy" with its vocal range. The music video is also great for colorful eye candy if you are interested. It adds a lot of suspense for the listener because the opener of the song "Imaginary Parties" is supposed to pull you in. However, it pauses every few seconds to bring discomfort and anticipation. We have to breathe and in between these resting moments. One could say that PTX has gone down in fame, but I'd like to 1) deny the nay-sayers, since they have recruited a new member to replace the one that left (for family reasons) and 2) look at the success the at what members doing. Not only are Grassi and Hoying still producing music, another member, Kirsten Maldonado, recently released her own album.
