Spending too much time on social media can lead to addiction, which can have a variety of negative consequences in people's lives.

Increasing sadness, the more time we spend on social media, the more we lose touch with reality and our senses, which leads to unrealistic goals and making people unhappy with their own lives. Furthermore, we believe it will help us when it’s harming us because we use it to escape reality.

It's mentally draining; staring at a screen for extended periods of time will end up making you exhausted and cause you to lose track of time. Furthermore, in addition to feeling exhausted, this can result in a variety of other issues, such as poor vision, headaches, and even weight gain.

Spending too much time on social media can lead to anxiety and a lack of confidence in people, and most things on social media are not legitimate, which can sabotage our ideal conception of a relationship.

Social media has become a very common problem over the years. you might know someone who has a social media addiction for me, it’s my friend. She has been facing this problem for a while now. After looking at peoples lives on social media she quickly became addicted. The first thing I noticed was how she became very anti-social and liked being more alone. After that I noticed her physical pains like back pain and more. Her life on social media had also been looking great but in reality, it was a mess. When I tried talking to her about it she quickly denied this addiction. The addiction became much worse over the months. I’ve tried helping her on multiple occasions but she’s always ignored it. After a while it was too much and her mental health was at its worst. She entered rehab and got better. I’m glad she is okay now and I hope no one has to go through it.
