  • This tort fits under the assault category. 
  • Annette is at fault, for threatening someone with a real weapon.
  • The amount of damages can be asked by the victim's family and the jury can decide what they feel is right. In this case, I would assume that Annette's family would probably have to pay for some if not all of the funeral cost for Mrs. Joiner.
