Rowling, for partially obvious reasons. She wrote the Harry Potter series, which is something that I love so much that I incorporate it into quite a bit of my life, so why not my LA Project? J.K.Rowling is my role model, and has spread many, many beautiful, moving messages through the whole series, and quite a few of them have affected me. The characters are so deep, that every death that happens feels real. The messages have helped me out in my own life, such as this. Normal people: "It's going to be okay." Potterheads: "Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light." She is so inspiring, through so many quotes. So what I did was put in as many quotes as I could fit in onto a piece of board. The background is all of the house colors, because, "Unite all the Houses, and we'll fight as one." I put the Deathly Hallows on there too, because it is the biggest bit of symbolism in the whole series by far. I made this choice to show how many newspapers were published his name establishing him to be a hero. Additionally, it is black and white which symbolises the darkness of the time period that he lived in. A second design chose that I made was cutting out a Jewish star and streaks of blue and white coming out of it. The star symbolizes how he helped the Jewish people and the streaks of their colors symbolize the light he brought into their life. 1.) The layout of my brick, on the left, is something inspirational Sacagawea said. In the middle I have a portrait of her high honorance on the dollar coin. Lastly on the right i have a compass and a picture of her and Lewis & Clark.
2.) I chose to put a compass with lewis and clark's name on it.
3.) I chose to put there names on the compass  because she led lewis and clark through the new land. 
4.) This symbolizes that she was a leader and very knowledgeable about the west.
5.) A second design change I made was the color scheme and arrow.
6.)  I chose to use red, orange, yellow and brown because they were the colors of her tribe and the arrow to show that she was a native american.

There is a gunshot in the wall because Bobby (Logic) lived through the violence, and also hearing gunshots outside of his house. Logic's face is half black and half white because is a biracial man. His mother is white and his father is African American. The black is on the right side of his face because he stands for black rights. Bobby only has a mouth because he does not fight with violence, he fights with words.

It represents how the black people overpowered the white people when protesting. In addition, the bricks represent the people that had been fighting for their beliefs, and the different types of skin color when I had colored the bricks in all different shades of brown. Tubman escaped slavery to have her freedom. After her escape, she soon returned to slave-holding states multiple times to help other slaves escape to their freedom. Tubman risked her life to become a runaway slave and to free others. The layout for my brick has a lot of design to show how much Tubman did for slaves. 
1) The row of houses  show how much different people helped out these slaves. 
2) The red line connecting the houses show that the row of houses that were the "safe route".            Not all houses were safe, most supported slavery and if they saw a freed slave, they would rat on them and have them killed. 
3) The picture of Tubman holding the light symbolizes the light that led her to freedom and other slaves' freedom. 
4) The reason for adding the blue and gold shows tears and innocence. It symbolizes the situation the slaves been through just to escape terrible labor. 
This brick reflects my hero because of all the laws she broke against slaves freedom. My brick symbolically represents how she had to go through tough times in her life to have others become happy and released.

This choice was made to express how she had bravely and confidently fought for Colombia's independence.
