Students will learn about the following topics through both video lectures provided by the instructor and supporting videos by other resources. Learners will be given questions to complete throughout the videos, similar to an EdPuzzle video, to complete while watching the videos to hold learners accountable to the given concepts. The focus of the instructional content will be about credit cards and debt, debit cards and a checking account, income-to-debt ratios and the benefits of a savings account.

Learners will choose an adult to interview. Learners will begin by determining questions that would be appropriate to ask in order to learn about the person's needs, wants and savings. Prior to the interview, learners will share them with a group of three members. Learners will then ask their family members the given questions and document the information. Learners will then create a visual representation of the information. Learners will present the visual with the two other members of their group. Learners will self-assess themselves and also be self-assessed by the learners in their group.
