The Ghost Festival is a folk festival where people hold various rituals to honor their ancestors. I chose the characters of Jack, Queen, King, a young monk, a young woman, and the emperor. The monk represents the origin of the festival, which is the story of Mulian saving his mother. The woman represents the celebration of the common people, and the emperor represents the dignitaries who also participate in the ancestral rituals. Some of them burned incense, some carried sacrificial food, and some placed Kongming (sky) lanterns. In the background, the lotus lanterns are used to represent the different hierarchies.
