         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sudan is a population practicing Islam with mostly Arabic to the north practicing Islam, and Black in the south practicing Christianity and other African religions.  The core of their culture is kept even when some are exiled. The focus of knowing one's origin, dialect and sense of connection in the land of turmoil. <br><br><strong>The influence of Islam; Music of South Sudan</strong><br>In the early 1990's Sudanese government taken important cultural recordings and destroyed them to replace them with propaganda. During this time destruction of unique tapes of artist such as Yousif Fataki. When you search for videos today for Yousif Fataki, Radio Juba, under the control of the current regime os Sudan. Southern Sudanese folk music is rich with the reflection of diverse cultures of this region. Sudan is knowns for many years of civil war.
