The cell cycle is very important because it affects our daily lives. This helps us function and grow in many ways. There has to be cell division for the growth of our bodies and repairing cells and tissues. This can be applied to the world around us because say when you hurt yourself and skin your knees, cells divide to replace older cells. We can also apply it to us growing because once cells divide we grow!
