         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mesopotamians developed the concept of time, dividing time units into 60 parts, which eventually lead to 60-second minutes, and 60-minute hours. It is also said that it seemed that the Mesopotamians based their concept of time off of counting the joints on their fingers and toes- three on each finger and three on each toe. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The sailboat was invented because transportation by land was hectic and too time consuming. The people of Mesopotamia decided that transportation via water would be easier and more convenient. The sailboat helped trade and commerce in this area. The sailboats could now easily travel in the rivers surrounding Mesopotamia : Tigris and Euphrates. It also allowed the Mesopotamians to fish and explore the area. </div>]]></description>

They were the first to develop the belief that stars can predict the future. Now, people read their horoscopes based on this invention. </div>]]></description>
