Within ITS we have a lot of job titles but do you really know what each person does?  

Operations Manager - Alex is responsible for ensuring that budgets are met and delivery is taking place so that we utilise our funding to the benefit of our clientele, she also oversees the day-to-day running of both centres and works in collaboration with other members of the senior management team to gain further funding and ensure that ITS is a force to be reckoned with!

Quality Manager/Lead IQA - Fiona looks after the quality of the delivery ensuring that we are meeting the requirements of all of our awarding bodies and Ofsted; managing and internally verifies all qualifications ensuring that what we are delivering meets the requirements of the awarding bodies and Ofsted, developing learner portfolios/schemes of work/lesson plans for delivery and carrying out CPD, training needs analysis' and standardisation meetings.

Internal Quality Assurance Team - we have some new faces to this area, all of whom are industry qualified and experienced, each evaluate and sample learner's work to ensure that the standards are being met.

Assessors - these folks are the ones on the front line delivering a variety of qualifications to the general public, companies and individuals; all have sector experience and knowledge and are very good at what they do.

Administrators - last but by no means least, you are the ones that ensure all paperwork is produced and printed for the assessors, claim certificates and register our learners so that we can do all the above; without you there would be a lot of paper floating around!]]> 2019-08-27 11:32:06 UTC https://padlet.com/fionalagus/soav3uq0iz9n/wish/377427741 fionalagus https://padlet.com/fionalagus/soav3uq0iz9n/wish/377429049 Some of you will already be aware of the government change in the delivery of Functional Skills Maths and English qualifications; for those of you that haven't heard the 'good' news here goes:

The UK government, after consultation, decided that the gap between GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications was too great therefore, in an effort to bridge this gap the Functional Skills Reform comes into play on 1st September.  Essentially it means that any learner who has signed up for one of our programmes after the 1st September will, if applicable, be completing their qualifications on the new specifications.  There is unfortunately going to be an overlap with old and new FS qualifications relating to apprenticeships - if in doubt please speak to your Quality Manager/LIQA for clarification.]]> 2019-08-27 11:39:43 UTC https://padlet.com/fionalagus/soav3uq0iz9n/wish/377429049 fionalagus https://padlet.com/fionalagus/soav3uq0iz9n/wish/377502425 As part of your continuous development with us, every month there will be an activity for you to complete and sign; the signed document needs to be forwarded to the LIQA for inclusion in your CPD file - DON'T forget to include ALL activities in your CPD log!
