Audience: Taylor wrote this song in 9th grade for a talent show at her school. She added it to album because it was popular among her classmates. The audience was intended for her boyfriend and young teenagers.
Purpose: Taylor id telling everyone about how her relationship was with Drew Hardwick and how happy she was. She was also addressing to her boyfriend that "we don't have a song", he responded that they do. 
Subject: The topic is love. There is also a 2nd topic, optimistic because Drew is telling Taylor what their song is.
Tone: The tone is happy. 1st, "I was riding shotgun with my hair undone", this tells us that she's driving around with her boyfriend. 
2nd, "I say "nothing I was just thinking how we don't have a song."", in this logo we can understand that she wishes her and her boyfriend had a song.

2nd, "I almost didn't notice all the roses and note that said...", this quote shows to us that her boyfriend had left her something to make her feel better. We are happy for Taylor.
3rd, "Had gone wrong and been trampled on, and lost and thrown away" Taylor wasn't happy and felt that people were trampling on her and just throwing her away.
