During elementary and most of highschool, I hated my culture and was ashamed of my race for the way people treated me and almost convinced me that because I was asain, I was "Dirty". I have been called "chink" more times than I could remember, and been told to "eat my dog" when she was being put down so that maybe I could have more meat on my bones.
