Hot, Humid, Wet

The ball is in the air

Goal, It slipped out of my hands

I knew the coach wouldn’t let me join

I was the only goalie though

The others didn’t show

I walked,

Coach says better luck next time,

The other kid had made it,

But, didnt even show.

My family driving

We were all hungry

We saw a mighty taco

I asked to go there

They said yes

Everyone ordered

Then it was my turn

I ordered the usual

3 beef’n’cheese plain tacos

We got them everyone looked at theirs

They were perfect

I looked at mine

It had lettuce tomatoes and onions on it

Everyone was eating

There was me in the back

I asked to go back to get a normal one

They said no

I picked everything off

By the time I ate it

It was cold

Minutes pass by

And only 2 words are written down on my paper

I look to my right and left,

Watching as everyone is scribbling stuff down

But I don’t know anything.

I have five minutes left,

To put down anything that will get me a grade on the test,

I don’t know why I have to take it,

when I have been sick the past week.

I start answering the questions as fast as I can,

But then,

Ding!

The bell goes off,

and I have only 2 answers down on a 5 page packet.

I know I will get a bad grade,

But my teacher should know better.

Christmas morning,

I jumped out of my bed.

I was turning ten in a month,

So my parents promised me something.

I saw it,

A small package labeled Leland.

Next to it was another labeled Laura.

I decided to push that thought aside.

When it was time, I tore it open,

A brand new iPod touch.

But wait my sister got one too.

And she only had to wait eight years!

Hers was better too,

32 GB compared to my 16.

I was furious,

The audacity of my parents astounded me.

You want rights then don’t ask

Force them to give them to you

I have the same rights as you but we have to fight for them

They won’t come from asking it comes from fighting

Prove that you are just as equal as the person next to you

Rich or poor we are equal if we have rights

We just have to force them to give us rights

Of which we treat each other today.

This anti semitism from the ancient to today, is still happening here

Insulted in my own classroom so there's no justice near.

I looked up in astonished disbelief bullied for my right of every single citizen to pray as they see right.

I lost three friends that day I cried and cried that night.

So why did I answer the question that was asked

“So what church do you go to” he asked and I answered back.

I catch something in the corner of my eye

I here laughing but not the kind when you watch comedy movies

The kind when someone is getting picked on and laughed at

There was a big kid almost looked like he was in highschool and much smaller kid

The smaller kid was minding his own business and trying to go to class when..

The much larger kid blocks his view stops his path and starts picking on him for how small he is

I tried to get over there to stop him but with all the people I couldn’t get there in time

They were both gone within a couple of seconds

As I think in my head if only I had gotten there sooner maybe that wouldn’t have happened

“My turn.” my brother says obnoxiously

“Mom said it was off for the day, besides we already had equal time today.”

I get up and go outside for a bit to cool off

I come back and see my brother on the Ps4

“Hey mom can I get on later.” “No”

“I told you it was a bad idea to let him on.” she says to my dad

“Well I can get on monday.” “No you can’t.”

“What!?” “Ethan does it all the time!?”

“That is because you have more time on it than he does.”

I checked the usage I have had 2 hours and 30 minutes he has had 4 hours

“Unfair much.” I say

And I walk away

Six women pull me out of a costume.

Everyone else has no problems with their costume.

Anger was shown and was written all over me.

Praying next year I don’t have to be in the same position ever again.

But he said no.

So he braked and made 3 in a row

My heart dropped to the floor.

Then he made all of them except the 8
Saying this was an unfair game.

Hoping I would have a chance

Starting my shot

Then I made them Like 1,2,3

Then I was down to me

Forcing to make the 8 ball.

I made it in but the cue ball to.

All of sudden people started to scream I looked around and saw a cop charging at me what did I do I thought but then realized he wasn't coming for me. I jumped out of the way and got to the ground but the girl couldn't the cop dropped his stuff and as the girl went to pick in up she was slammed to the ground as hard as can be I heard her scream please not me. My mom told me stories like this but I never thought I would see them happen know me You're under arrest for trying to steal my stuff he said as mean as could be and then the girl looked at me. I tried too help but then I remembered all the stories that people have told to me and I would be careful i thought this won't happen to me.

I said it was conner but she thought it was me

Then conner started laughing and slapped his knee

I got in lots of trouble but he should’ve confessed

If he did i would not have been in a big bad mess.

The ones that have a family who is starving to feed.

The ones that don’t had a job to work and get their pay,

So they could provide money for their family, but it didn’t go their way.

The government decided to have stamps on food to give them a little hope,

But they are only junk food which they they can’t cope.

The government is not doing anything to help them get out this mess,

As these people are trying to fight to live and that they won’t have stress.

If the government is won’t do anything to fix these terrible things,

Then let us stand and fight to get these people their wings.
