very suspensful and thrilling, has alot of plot twists, has swear words, but only a few. maybe for year 8 plus

A Monster Calls is about a boy named Conor whose mom is very sick. A giant tree monster visits him and tells him stories to help him understand his feelings. It's a great book with beautiful pictures that teaches about courage and dealing with tough times. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

it's a dystopian book, that is suspensful, and full of adventures. I reccomend reading the whole series. The scorch trials, the death cure, the kill order, and the fever code, but the two last one are a different story. The before last one is from the perspective of another characeter, and the last one is form when the main charecter was young.

amazing book that tells the tale about young boy Piscine Patel or pi and his story about being stranded in the middle of the ocean by himself, a lion and a hyena from a shipwreck. Would recommend for ages 10 and older since it has lots of metaphors and philosophical themes young kids might not understand

this book series is perfect for people who like fantasy although the second half can get quite dark and has some violent scenes. It is and extended book series including 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.5,9 and 9.5 is coming out in december. And apparently book 10 is coming out soon There are serious characters, relatable characters and most imporatntly comedic releif charcaters (using the humor to hide their suffering). ENJOY!!

Actually really liked the book because of it’s message, the story and was one of the few books that really interested me because it’s not the typical boring fantasy and it feels very realistic. Would recommend ages 10 and over because it has themes of war, grief and violence but is a very engaging story about a little boy Tommo and his brother as they go to war in France and leave their small town in England

this book series is focused on a ruined distopian world and the main character Juliet who has powers that can kill people. Further throughout the series there are some mature themes and there is definitely some violence but it is still a fantastic book. must be mature to read

Listen to the Moon is about a girl named Alice who washes up on a beach after a storm with no memory of who she is. The villagers think she's special and take her in. As she tries to figure out who she is, Alice learns a lot about herself and the secrets of the village. It’s a story about finding your way and discovering where you belong.

When Life Gives You Mangoes by Kereen Getten is about a girl named Clara who lives on an island. After a big storm, Clara can't remember what happened last summer. She feels confused and finds it hard to talk to her friends. Then a new girl named Rudy comes to the island, and together they start to uncover secrets and face the past. It's a beautiful story about friendship and being brave, perfect for kids aged 12 to 15.

This book talks about social economics and it talks about monopolies and it taught me about how the economy sister started during the 1930s during the Great Depression and it also talks about inflation and how a lot of people got unemployed in the 1930s to 1980s but im still reading it that’s just up to the 50s page there’s like 300 pages but its like a pocket book even though it might look small its huge.

It’s about forgery and like it taught me what forgers do and how they steal stuff and how to prevent it it also talks about how people forge paintings and its from 45 years ago though it was my dad who originally had the book but now i have the book. I like it but i dont think its really the norm anymore but I like it so probably someone else would probably like it.

( who can read books with a bit of violence ) I loved reading these books they are very interesting and the murder mystery is addictive . The only downside is that I stayed up all night reading it . I definitely recommend .

It’s a really good children book about two boys and a principal that is hypnotized in to captain underpants you don’t have to be a mature reader so any age could read this it’s funny and interesting it’s a comic book so there is small writing and colorful pictures they even have a show

The Martian is one of my favourite books of all time, I highly recommend reading it! Astronaut Mark Watney gets stranded on Mars after a NASA mission gone wrong. Somehow, he has to not only survive but do so for long enough that he eventually makes contacts with people and gets back to earth. This book has some really funny moments, and it constantly keeps you on the edge of your toes, with the living on Mars and all. ( It is a movie as well, but the movie isn't censored for those who want to read the young readers version).

The kids live in a time loop, so every day is the same, protecting them from scary monsters called Hollowgasts. Jacob finds out he has a special power too: he can see the monsters! He decides to help his new friends fight these creatures to keep their home safe. It's an exciting, spooky story about bravery, friendship, and discovering who you are.

I would say 13+. I guess it's for a bit more of a mature audience due to violence being a recurring theme throughout the series.

It's following the main character Clarissa 'Clary' Fray as she goes on a variety of missions to free the world of monsters. It can be read as its own series, however it was designed as a sequel to the series "The Infernal Devices". It's full of twists, turns and tumbles and not gonna lie the end of book one....woah. It was crazy
