The Data and Results

I noticed during the project, the egg for the Gatorade decayed. I think its because of its PH level or sugar.( Gatorade has about 2.9-3.2, which means its acidic, it also has 34 grams of sugar in a 20 ounce bottle-found from Reference.com.) The salt water only made the egg have more mass. So, does this mean the Vinegar doesn't work? Actually the vinegar is the one of the substance that worked along with the Coca Cola. I also realized that the egg for the vinegar was floating unlike the others, and it started bubbling quite a lot, while the other eggs sink. The carbon dioxide is released during the chemical reaction between the egg shell and the vinegar acid . (found from education.seattlepi.com )

My Conclusion

My conclusion was that only the vinegar and Coca Cola made the egg bounce. Which meant my hypothesis was correct. So, if I did this project again, I would've checked if the substances were acidic or not so I would test my hypothesis. I also learned from this project how it would affect our health, this is because when I was researching about the substances, I found information about how the Coca Cola and Gatorade would affect our health. Lets say the shell was our teeth, if we soaked it in to Gatorade or Coca Cola the shell will loosen apart and decay, so the project helped me understand. Found from thoughtco.com and Answers.com
As for the Egg Cracker team I helped bring in the salt, and was the substitute for writing the team's scientific method project paper.
