The thing is they are doing the same thing, using up thier resources but now they dont know what to do. Only thing that bothers me is that no one made any inventions for 200 years. There had to be people like doon who tried tinkering with things, and in the real world we invented and expand ideas a lot in under 200 years. The society in this book is really messed up because the government gets better treatment than the citizens. The mayor treats the citizens as though they do not really matter. And now Doon and Lina look at the instructions and it showed a way out of Ember.
