I learnt new vocabulary and despite I studied the most of the topics of this course, I think that I reinforced my learning, but especially I could practice skills like listening, writing and reading

 
What are my strengths and weaknesses?

My strengths 

I am responsible

I understand the topics so far

I recognize that English is important for live

My weakness

I am distracted, my concentration time is very short

I postpone the task that I have to do

My vocabulary in English is little and I don’t like study it

I do the homework one day before the due date

 
What have I improved? What I must improve?

I have improved my pronunciation, my fluency, my vocabulary, my listening but I must to practice it every day to become better

I must improve in my confidence because I can’t speak in English in public

I must improve my listening

I must improve in the organization of my time

I must improve in my pronunciation.

I live in Toluca; I like to spend time with my family and I really love play drums. I have a dog, her name is "Duquesa" and she is old, but so beautiful, and I like so much go to walk with her. Latin music is my favorite, also Jazz music,  are unusual and enjoyable. My favorite color is blue and my favorite song is "Bésame mucho".

First, I learnt about rock music and I liked it, honestly, I like jazz or latin music better but with Teacher Sunyol now I like Rock and Metal. Talking about school I learned new grammatic tenses and vocabulary, I improved my English too much, and I feel that I can speak with more fluency, also improved listening, reading and speaking. I would like to practice tenses a little bit more.

What are my strengths and weaknesses?

My strengths are reading and listening, maybe speaking, but these are the topics that I got better grades on exams, I think because I have studied these harder than before. I set up my goals and one of them is talk Englis perfectly.

My weaknesses are writing and grammar; writing because I have to study hard spelling; and grammar because my mind doesn’t order ideas to do sentences with sense

What have I improved? What I must improve?

I have improved my vocabulary; I am more confidence with myself talking in English and maybe my pronunciation

I must improve in my fluency; my spelling and I think that I have to see English in a better way because I don’t like it.

I am really nervous about the final period, are a lot of work talking about all the subjects, so I have to organized myself to fulfil everything and finish the semester with good results.

During the semester I learned to focused in the school, in all the things that I have to upload and deliver, what I mean, be responsible, I am getting older and I have to mature, and take responsibility for my actions.

Comparing with the other semesters, I feel more comfortable with the lenguaje, I got a lot of new vocabulary and I practice more time, other thing that I believe that is helping me, are the subjects that are taken in English, in summary, in this semester I was surrounded of English.

In conclusion, I improved, but I need to get even better to achieve my objective, study abroad.

Every second that passed away is important because everything happening in that short period influences deeply who you are, I mean every person who we interact with can influence us. So what will happen if we fuse the knowledge and abilities that we acquire from others plus ours? 

My greatest passion is music. I was called by a musical director who I admire to play with him along with another three instrumentalists, so he assigned us our score; when I saw it, I got panicked, fortunately, I managed to play the songs after loads of hours of practice. 

The day of the rehearsal arrived and nothing could shield how afraid everyone felt, the musical director noticed and asked for silence, however, no one in the room expected that the words that would came out of his mouth, would change completely our perspective of music, life, and ourselves. He said: “My faith in you and your work brought you here. Is crucial to understand that each one has a different power, if we want to create “The Avengers” we have to hook up ourselves to form one soul”. Was at that moment when I realized the importance that people around us have in our daily life.

That's why I am motivated to study at the university, to make great things by being one soul with other students and teachers, but above all, to shape my identity to grow up every time in this wonderful and short period of existence called life.

The strategies that I will continue using consist of identifying unknown vocabulary and determining its meaning by context, this allows a better understanding of the message emitted, as well as expanding my vocabulary. Another strategy that seems appropriate to me is to seek the greatest contact with the language through reading, movies, songs, etc. with the purpose of continuing to practice.

The activity that I liked the most was the elaboration of the story because several strategies were applied, first texts in English were reviewed, analyzed and reconsidered, generating significant knowledge; The activity that cost me the most work was to continue the story according to what was written by my teammates. I believe that this activity can be used in real life, it is a process that applies to any activity and language.

The subject of English is not one of my favorites, however, I recognize the importance it currently has to successfully incorporate into any field, so little by little I have been strengthening my skills in this regard.

As I mentioned, English is essential to have access to new opportunities, considering that this is one of the main languages ​​on the planet and that the development of the population is read in English. As a person, I am aware that improving my level of English will allow me to access broader sources of information, and information is power. The use of a portfolio of evidence accounts for the work done, but above all the progress.
