I hope that you love my vehicle as much as I do. The long drive to and from Brophy are much better with my big grey friend.

How did this first "week" go for you? Was the online platform challenging? Why or why not? What could Mr. Burr have done better?

The first week was not very challenging for me. I did not have too much trouble coming up with topics or subjects for my videos. As a now Senior taking this class, I have made a god amount of projects and videos on Imovie and am pretty familiar with it. The one thing that kept making want to retake the videos is exactly what Mr. Burr told us. I expected the video I shot on my phone to be movie quality and had to bring myself to terms with the fact that it won't be. I think that Mr. Burr did a great job in setting us up with examples of his work, but I feel like it would have been a little bit more helpful if he took us through his thought process when he is editing his own videos.

What was the most valuable thing you learned this week? Why?
The most valuable thing that i learned this week was how to lock your arms into your sides to reduce the shaking in any video. Originally, I thought you want to hold the phone far from your body because it would make a good angle or something like that. Making my videos more still has improved their quality dramatically.

How were the Skillshare tutorials? What did you like or not like about them?
I thought that some of the things that they went over in the skill share tutorial were very basic and I could have just skipped those videos if it were broken down into smaller ones. I did like that they went through each button on above the video preview and it helped me to discover features that I did not know Imovie had like putting videos in reverse.

How did you feel about the Capture a Location project? What went well? What could go better?
I think that I did well in getting different angles and positions of the car. I especially like the long distance shots (the last one in the video). I think that I could have done a better jobs accounting for shows on parts of the car and glares/reflections that the sun caused since it was filmed during the middle of the day.

Do you feel like you have a basic understanding of iMovie and shooting video on your phone? Why or why not?

I think that I have a basic understanding of both of these items. I feel like I have a better understanding of Imovie than shooting, but it is coming along. The only real thing that I struggle with is finding an area to film where their won't be reflections from the sun or deep shadows. I think that I can start by filming in the evening because their will be less of that direct sun contact with surfaces.
