The information outlines the importance of the Spanish language in our world, in five separate points. Overall, there were three main points that were presented. The first, was that Spanish is widely spoken around the world (and acc. to the article is "the 3rd most widely spoken language worldwide"). This can be supported through the evidence stating that, “Spanish is the third most widely spoken language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese and English”. The second point is that Spanish is widely spoken in the digital world as well, with evidence suggesting that, “Spanish is the second most used language on the two most popular social networks: Twitter and Facebook.” Lastly, the Spanish language keeps growing, which is supported through the evidence in the article, highlighting that as the number of Spanish speakers are is increasing.
