The theme of the story is that

Omakayas feels lonely and has no friends .She finds two young bears and she wants to keep them has two baby brothers.

Detail 1:Her sister always laughs at her,and she is mean to Omakayas.

Detail 2:She does not have that much friends .So she wants to have some friends.

Detail 3: She finds two baby bears and she could not find their mother .So she decides to take them home with her.To impress her sister,But then the mother came out of the bushes and took the baby bears home.

The theme of this story is about a girl named Omakayas who wants to impress her older sister. her sister hurt her feelings so she went out.

Detail 1: She finds 2 baby cubs and she thought that they did not have a mother. Soon while she was playing with the cubs,the mother bear came with anger.So she tackled her.

Detail 2 : Omakayas did not scream like most people would do.What I also think is this book is meant not to give up and to keep on going. She also did not give up so she was very brave.

Detail 3 : While she was saying something to the bear. What she said to the bear it under stood her. So the bear knew that she was no harm to the baby cubs. So the mother bear hit the cub that wanted to go back to Omakayas but when she hit him that was a signal to not go near her.

I think the theme of the story is Omakayas wants her sister Angeline to be impressed and have envy on her.

DETAIL 1: When Omakayas finds 2 boy bears she wants them because there so cute. Omakayas can then make her sister thrilled and make her look at her with new respect.

DETAIL 2: Everyone would make way,impressed.

DETAIL 3: Omakayas would lead the bear cubs around the fire four times before she presented one of them to Angeline,who would look at her with new respect.

DETAIL 4:If only there was someway to impress Angeline,cause her envy,make her say,"can i have some of those berries please,please,please?"

Detail 1: When she was picking berry she thought of how much fun it would have been if her sister was there with her.

The main idea of the Birch Tree is Omakyas only cares about her self and Omakyas is sensitive that she is sad that her sister said something mean to her.

Detail 1 is that she was sad because her sister said something so she walked even slower in the woods.

I think that the theme of the story is that omakayas feels sad and has nobody to be freinds with.

1 Her sister is mean and laughs at her because she is diferent.

2: She has no freinds and then she finds two baby bears and says , " I will take these back to my home and show the Bears to my sister.

3: Whn she finds the Bears she's thinks they are orphans but they are not and the momma bear shows up and threatens omakayas but does not hurt her.
