Kahoot is an entertaining tool that students really enjoy. It is a platform where students can participate in online challenges, and it can become very competitive, that is one of the disadvantages. But teachers must remind students that it is not necessary to compete, and mediate possible problems.

Canva is an excellent platform for creating posters, images, and all kinds of presentation material.


Padlet is a very good platform to present content in an organized and playful way. Highly recommended.

And wordwall and educaplay are platforms for creating educational games. Children and young people really enjoy these two platforms. And we as teachers also enjoy it because the students participate a lot.

MAIN CHALLENGES

The Covid-19 pandemic immediately affected classrooms. We did not have a preparatory phase for this scenario of course, therefore the changes that occurred were drastic. Teachers, students and their families went through many problems trying to adapt to these changes and of course many challenges are evident.

Some teachers were challenged to restructure all their class material to have it available in digital format, which is time consuming.

In the beginning, the classes in general weren't even online. Instead, teachers sent content and homework guides to students. Some teachers had to create educational capsules, they had to record themselves on videos presenting content and doing their best to teach in this context. And later, they began to meet online in real time.

We believe that reflective work is very relevant in pedagogy, as it gives us an analytical view of reality and the processes that we live. At present, the advancement of technology is fast, and we must adopt a certain rythm. Reflection helps us to be aware of that rhythm and thus experience it in a better way, always benefiting our students who are the most important.
