         <description><![CDATA[<div>| <em>The Globe </em>was a recreation of the <em>Theatre</em>, where Shakespeare's company performed until 1598. It was forced to be torn down over a dispute over the lease of land.<br><br>The theater was round which broke away from the classic rectangular shape. There are 3 stories to the theater. The common man or the "groundling" were on the base floor in the courtyard near the stage. The more wealthy person could be up higher where there were cushioned seats and shade from rain or sunlight. </div>]]></description>
