My head was fuzzy as she questioned me, but all I could answer was “Jealous of you and Peter? No.” My head filled with water as I said that. That was the worst moment of time in the Annex. When my head was drowning and all I wanted was to talk. Talk to her. Tell her how I really felt and explain to her that I do like Peter. Of course I like Peter. How could I not? And the one time that I felt as though I was growing closer to my sister, all the water in my head flushed out taking my memories and happiness with it.
