Why did the monster choose to tell the first story to connor?

I think the monster chose to tell connor the story of a Prince or king killing his bride and then blaming the step mother for it. The monster told connor this because at the end of the story the monster saved the step mom, he took her when the king killed the bride. He told connor the story because he wanted to show him that even the good people can be accused.

Why did connor's grandma react the way she did when she found her living room destroyed by connor?

Connor's grandma broke the last remaning thing in the living room, because she was mad. And she figured everything was broken and there's no reason for the display cabinet to be standing. So she broke it to , just to match the other rubbish all over the floor. She Broke it out of anger.

I predict that the fourth tale will have something to do with his mom because the fourth tale is about connor revealing a secret of his something he is insecure about

how does each tale reflect conor's experiences?

In the first tale the monster talked about a prince that killed his wife and his step mom was blamed. The prince didn't like the stepmom but he liked his wife such as Connor not liking his grandma but liked his mother. The second tale was about a parson that didn't want help from a healer until his daughters were sick. This is like Connor not wanting help from lily went the boys would fight connor, then when he needed her she wasn't there. And in the third tale It was about a man who was invisible to all those around him and he wanted to change that and made them see him. This is like connor because nobody really knew who he was and he wanted to make them see him.
