The prince didn't like the stepmom but he liked his wife such as Connor not liking his grandma but liked his mother. The second tale was about a parson that didn't want help from a healer until his daughters were sick. This is like Connor not wanting help from lily went the boys would fight connor, then when he needed her she wasn't there. And in the third tale It was about a man who was invisible to all those around him and he wanted to change that and made them see him.
