Even if I did not live during the time of the Holocaust, I consider it a world event that created an impact on my life because it made me feel regret for the different Jewish people and families that had to go through the horrors and abuses inflicted by the German Nazis. 

The impact of this world event on my life is that it made me realize that the events in the past are what shape our present and future.
