This programme is by NLB and I thought that it would be awesome  if I could join. If I could get i I could take part in certain programmes by NLB in the public such as storytelling and such. I first had to go through a audition in school. We had to do a book talk  and Ms. Chan was telling us to be different from the other nominees - don't just hold the book and talk (we were not allowed to use online material like slides) - maybe create some slides with paper and present to make it more interesting. I decided to take her advice and I made a deck of "slides" from drawing block paper. The key point of a book talk is to motivate people to read a certain book that you recommend to them. You need to tell them why you like the book,  why you recommend it, give a short summary of the story, maybe read a passage from the book to show the writing style to see if the person likes the writing style. Most of all you need to say what the book taught you like values that you learnt. The most daunting part was that the talk we had to give could only be maximum 3 minutes long. Wow! I was so nervous that I would mess up but in the end, I did my best, and whatever happened, that was enough.

First, we copy down the question, and put down what type of error we made. The different types of errors are below, ranging from careless to conceptual errors. We only choose one question for each topic/type of question. We then write down what we did and what we should have done. We didn't always have to write down what we got wrong, but we also could have done in a different method so we are more flexible in doing it and will know more ways to do a problem more quickly/ better.
