Cotton is commonly used in a wide assortment of apparel including blouses, dresses, skirts, pants, underwear, linens.
An example of cotton's usage is in the cotton swab, popularly known as Q-tips. They are used for cleaning the ears, applying makeup, and even for arts and crafts.
The best way to care for cotton is to wash clothes in cold water whether it be in the washing machine or by hand. Also make sure to always air dry and lay clothes out flat to protect the shape and texture of the clothing item.
------------------------------------
Advantages:
(1) comfortable
(2) absorbent
(3) washable
(4) strong
(5) inexpensive
Disadvantages:
(1) shrinks in hot water
(2) wrinkles easily

Linen was originally used for bedding. Now, it's also used for dresses, suits, jackets, home furnishings, draperies, table linens, and dish towels.
The best way to care for linen is to wash the fabric in warm or cold water; like cotton, it has a tendency to shrink in hot water. Line drying is also preferred. Linen gets soft after each wash which is probably why it's used for bedding so much.
------------------------------------
Advantages:
(1) strong
(2) comfortable
(3) absorbent
(4) durable
(5) lint-free
Disadvantages:
(1) wrinkles easily
(2) can be expensive
(3) shrinks
(4) holds creases

Leather is made from animal skins; it can be made into suede with special equipment. It is commonly used in coats, jackets, shoes, handbags, gloves, and belts; can be found in upholstery and decorating accessories as well.
The best way to care for leather is to sweep leather with a soft, damp cloth. Dry leather slowly if you wear it out on a rainy day. Letting it dry out in the sun or next to a fire can cause it to become brittle and crack.
------------------------------------
Advantages:
(1) durable
(2) comfortable
(3) warm
Disadvantages:
(1) scarce
(2) expensive

Fur

Fur is literally what it is: fur. The soft hair part of an animal is achieved from animals, obviously, and while the use of this fabric is being discouraged everyday, it still is being used in various things. This includes coats, jackets, hats, bed throws, and rugs.
The best way to care for fur is to protect fur from dust, store away from direct sunlight, avoid spraying hairspray or perfume on fur, and store in breathable cloth bags. If you want to clean your fur coat, go to a cleaner that specializes in fur for deep cleaning.
------------------------------------
Advantages:
(1) durable
(2) soft
(3) flexible
(4) warm
Disadvantages:
(1) expensive
(2) scarce
