It is a part of a series called the books of Ember. I really enjoy the series a lot. It is about a secret underground city that is running low and supplies, and then they discover the outside world. It is packed full with adventure and curiosity.

Wallflower means to be awkward and a bit introverted. I feel like I really connect with that, because I tend to feel shy or not as outgoing as I would like to be. This book has an amazing story, about a teenage boy named Charlie who deals with his own special issues. He meets friends who become like family to him, and they learn who he really is. Many traumatic events took place in Charlie's life, and he has to learn how to deal with it. The ending was my favorite part because there was a big plot twist, which made me very engaged in the book. Jack starts to slide off track and get into serious trouble. With his father being gone, ad Shane being a closeted gay teenager, he faces many obstacles. He turns to David, whom he's had a secret relationship with for the past few months. Shane hopes to go to a university of his choice with the money from his father's inheritance, but that hope is shattered when the money is used on mandatory house repairs. He learns to accept himself, and find out who he is, and what his future holds. The Go-Between introduces a teenage girl named Camilla, who lives a glamorous life in Mexico city. Her mom is an accomplished and very well known actress in telenovelas, while her dad is a wealthy voice-actor. Her life is completely turned upside down when her and her family move to Beverly Hills, and she pretends to be the person  that everyone around her assumes she is. A poor scholarship student who's parents work as a maid and gardener. This book really shows how powerful friendship is, and how it's important to have someone there for you. She eventually confesses the truth and fights for her friends back. When You Reach Me is a science fiction, mystery type book, which I found really interesting as I read. It's all about a girl named Miranda, who starts getting mysterious notes from a stranger who says her friend is in trouble. In the beginning of the book I found myself very confused at all the clues/notes that were given to her, because there was no clear directions about what she needed to do. In a way that made reading more fun because I would try to figure out what was happening, and who was giving the notes. The ending was definitely my favorite part because everything is revealed and concluded.
