The photo albums of my parents, extended family, and baby me are very important to me and I always look through them to up my mood. It's good to be independent and self-reliant, but sometimes I feel like we are scared to ask for help because we see that as weak. However, I think questions are what make you stronger because you ask, get the answer, then apply it. 

This one is not always, however the majority of people make everything a competition. I remember a time when I was still in-person and we got our math tests back and almost everyone made it a competition to see who got the best score. Another value I picked up before elementary school is that you don't need everyone to like you. I would always try so hard so that everyone would be friends with me and it worked but by middle school it was way too much work and I didn't even want to be friends with some of them (not saying that in a mean way). Like treating people how I want to be treated and always give people a smile even if you're not feeling it. My parents have always taught me to treat people how I wanted to be treated and to never disrespect anyone. My ballet teachers and ballet in general has taught me how to listen and watch people, being respectful, and how to smile through everything.
