This has the most influence on society because the Mesopotamian people thought they had to make the gods happy to have good things to come to them. And they didn't have any knowledge of the science happening in their life. If the weather was bad they just thought it was the gods being unhappy and that they had to just make them happy to have them have good weather. They didn't look for the answers or the scientific reason they just believed it was the gods being unhappy. So they dedicated their lives to making sure the gods stayed happy meanwhile its just science and nature doing there job.
