Seeking knowledge is an act of worship in Islam, and it requires good manners (adab). Here are some important adab we should practice as students:

1. Purify Intention (Ikhlas)

   • Study for the sake of Allah, not just for grades or fame.

2. Respect Teachers

   • Listen attentively, do not interrupt, and value the knowledge they share.

3. Respect Knowledge

   • Treat books, notes, and learning materials with care.

4. Be Humble

   • Do not feel arrogant because of what you know. Remember, there is always more to learn.

5. Be Consistent

   • Revise and review regularly, not only during exams.

6. Practice What You Learn

   • Knowledge is a trust. Put it into action to benefit yourself and others.

7. Avoid Wasting Time

   • Use your time wisely and stay away from distractions.

8. Make Dua

   • Ask Allah for beneficial knowledge and to make learning easy.

"Whoever follows a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise." (Hadith – Muslim)

One day, Angel Jibril (Gabriel) came in the form of a man and asked Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about Islam. The Prophet explained that Islam is built upon five pillars. These are the foundation of a Muslim’s faith and practice.

🕋 The Five Pillars of Islam

1. Shahadah (Declaration of Faith)

   • To testify: “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”

   • This is the key to enter Islam and the heart of our belief.

2. Salah (Prayer)

   • Muslims must perform five daily prayers.

   • It keeps us connected with Allah and reminds us to stay disciplined.

3. Zakah (Almsgiving)

   • Giving a portion of wealth to the poor and needy.

   • It purifies our wealth and teaches us to care for others.

4. Sawm (Fasting in Ramadan)

   • Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan from dawn to sunset.

   • It builds patience, self-control, and empathy for the less fortunate.

5. Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah)

   • A once-in-a-lifetime obligation for those who are physically and financially able.

   • It unites Muslims from all over the world in worship.

✨ These five pillars are not just rituals, but they shape a Muslim’s life, character, and relationship with Allah and people. Without them, Islam would not stand strong—just like a building cannot stand without pillars.

• Acknowledge Allah’s Oneness (Tawhid)
  Believe that Allah is the only God, without partner.

• Submit to His Commands
  Accept everything Allah has ordained, even if we don’t fully understand.

• Trust in Allah (Tawakkul)
  Depend on Him in every matter of life.

• Love and Fear Allah
  Balance between love, hope, and fear in our worship of Him.

• Remember Allah (Dhikr)
  Keep Allah in our heart through prayer, dhikr, and obedience.

2.Belief in Angels

• Acknowledge Their Existence
  Believe that angels are real creations of Allah, made from light.

• Respect Their Roles
  Understand each angel’s duty (e.g., Jibril bringing revelation, Israfil blowing the trumpet).

• Be Mindful of Recording Angels
  Remember that Kiraman Katibin write our deeds, good or bad.

• Follow Their Guidance
  Since angels always obey Allah, we should strive to follow their example of obedience.

• Pray for Protection
  Seek Allah’s protection with the help of angels assigned to guard us.

3.Belief in Books

• Believe in All Divine Books
  Accept that Allah revealed scriptures such as Tawrah, Zabur, Injil, and Qur’an.

• Respect the Qur’an
  Treat it as the final, unchanged, and perfect guidance for mankind.

• Recite and Reflect
  Read Qur’an with understanding and reflection (tadabbur).

• Practice Its Teachings
  Live according to the Qur’an’s commands and prohibitions.

• Use It as a Light
  Make Qur’an the source of guidance in decision-making, character, and daily life.

Believing in the messengers means acknowledging that Allah sent prophets to guide mankind with His message. Each messenger brought truth and guidance to their people, and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final messenger for all of humanity. Their lives are examples of faith, patience, and obedience to Allah that we should strive to follow.

-Belief in the Hereafter

Belief in the Hereafter reminds us that this world is temporary, and every soul will face judgment. On that Day, all deeds—big or small—will be accounted for, and justice will be served. This belief encourages us to live responsibly, repent sincerely, and strive for eternal success in Paradise while avoiding actions that lead to punishment.

-Belief in Qada and Qadar

Believing in Qada’ and Qadar means recognizing that everything in life happens by Allah’s will and wisdom. Whether good or bad, all events are part of His divine plan. This belief nurtures patience in times of hardship, gratitude in times of ease, and trust in Allah’s perfect knowledge. It also teaches us to do our best while knowing that the outcome rests with Allah

I pray that Allah strengthens my iman, grants me consistency in practicing what I believe, and allows me to live by the Qur’an so that my records with the angels will be filled with deeds pleasing to Him. 🌿

I pray for love of the Prophet ﷺ, readiness for the Hereafter, and contentment with Allah’s decree. 🌿

• Iḥsān (Excellence in Faith): To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if not, know that He sees you.

• Meaning: Comes from ḥusn (goodness/beauty); it means doing things in the best way — beyond justice, with kindness and sincerity.

• Application: Not limited to worship, but also in how we treat parents, others, animals, and even the environment.

• Qur’an & Hadith: Allah loves the muḥsinīn (those who practice ihsān). Prophet ﷺ said Allah prescribed ihsān in all things.

• Eschatology (Hereafter): Refers to belief in life after death, resurrection, judgment, paradise, and hell.

• Importance: Without belief in the Hereafter, life loses meaning and morality weakens. It ensures justice, as ultimate reward/punishment will happen in the next life.

• Relation: Iḥsān helps believers prepare for the Hereafter by worshipping with excellence, living with sincerity, and striving for Allah’s pleasure, leading to Paradise.

Each section describes the meaning of the belief and how Muslims can apply it in their daily lives:

• Belief in Allah encourages Muslims to perform five daily prayers, reflect on the Qur’an, and worship Allah sincerely.

• Belief in Malaikah reminds Muslims that angels record all deeds, influencing them to avoid temptations and interact kindly with others.

• Belief in Kutub highlights the importance of understanding and practicing the teachings in the revealed scriptures, especially the Qur’an.

At the bottom, the poster also includes a Qur’anic verse from Surah Al-Baqarah (2:163) emphasizing that “Your God is only one God.”
