Which of the Ten Ethical Computing Guidelines do you think students violate most often?

I believe that number one of the ten ethical computing guidelines gets violated the most because of how often we see cases of cyberbullying and the use of the internet as an instrument of violence, hateful speech, and ability to do dangerous things.

Why do you think these violations occur?

In my opinion, these violations occur due to how accessible the internet is in the world we live in today. Everything we consume on a daily basis involves the use of the internet, that's why for people who want to use the tool as a way to harm other people, find it as a means of executing these violations. The computer allows people to get away with a lot of things that they would never think of doing in real life.

What do you think could be done to reduce or eliminate such unethical behavior?

I feel as if there should be more laws put in place to limit the ability people have to perform such unethical behaviors. I also am a strong believer in that there should be more severe consequences and punishments for those who engage in unethical behaviors on the internet.
