After reading O Me! O Life! and watching Dead Poets' Society, I feel very inspired and touched. The film, directed by Peter Weir, deeply inspired me to do what I feel passionate about and also to love all of my friends, treating them essentially as family. The film also inspired me to live life to its fullest, cause you never know when it may end. The poem written by Walt Whitman, on the other hand, inspired me to find my true purpose in life, and to seek how I can have an impact on the world throughout my lifetime. These two pieces of work have deeply inspired my to find a deeper meaning overall in life and to love everybody around me.

"What do I want to be when I grow up?" I have asked myself this question many times, spending many showers thinking of it, and I still don't the answer to this question. I do, however, know what I want my impact to be on this world. When I leave this world, I want everyone to know what I did to the world, and my legacy will live on after my time is up. I live by a quote from music artist Drake, "Bury me and I'll be born again, I walk in godly form amongst the mortal men." This quote has a profound meaning to me as I want my legacy to live on even after my passing, being remembered even after my death. Whether that be by solving climate change, ending world hunger, or finding the cure to cancer, I know that I want to leave a lasting impact on this world so that my legacy will be remembered even when I'm gone.
