Bella is our last child she is 3 years old a beautiful sweet loving a girl and at moments she can be mean rude and stubborn we detected there was something abnormal about her at age 1 she did not make eye contact with nobody she did not like noise at all it would have bother her ears she couldn't socialize with anybody have a good day thank you too I couldn't take her to the stores with me out in public or to the playground in the summertime because I knew it wasn't going to end well with her meltdowns her screaming throwing herself on the floor throwing whatever objects she would find if I would take her to the store I know as soon as she would get off the car she would run off without realizing that there's danger around her one day at age 2 I got her off the car and had her right next to me in between my legs what I got her other sister off she managed to get out of my legs and ran into the street not to mention it's a busy Street and almost got hit by a car I froze and screamed thinking but that was the end well she turned a lot turned around and was laughing like if it was funny you don't realize how tough and overwhelming and emotional it is when you have children in the autism spectrum side it's everyday battle especially when you don't have it any help for support she started walking at a year and 7 months no eye contact nonverbal didn't pay attention to her surroundings doesn't like socializing doesn't like playing with other kids has tantrums and meltdowns everyday ever since she started with ABA therapy it's been a huge huge help and release on my stress for me as a mother from not seeing mama or daddy to saying no please help and mami You're waiting to here your child say for the first time Mommy or Daddy and she was finally able to say Mommy at 2 years and 7 months old she still has problems transitioning from one place to another or from certain activities to another but AB8 therapy has helped us tremendously and her every day activities she now can actually play without fighting or throwing things at her brothers and sister she now waits and gives me her hand when it's time to get off the car instead of running off to the street so if you guys assign to take APA therapies away or funding away and giving us parents less hours of therapy for our children that's going to affect in my daughter to be independent later down the road that's going to affect her down the road and her everyday activities in her speech and her development you guys need to put your selfs in our shoes my daughter may not have a voice may not speak may have speech delays but as her mother I'm her voice as her mother I speak more than a thousand words and I'm raising my voice for her and I will not be silent I will make sure my daughter has every resource she can get to be a strong independent and will developed adult later down the road I am her voice I am a a mother of a autistic daughter and I am proud to say it because they are the most loving and sweet angels
