He recalled the rise in popularity of the two-way pager. The infamous beeps are sounds that had Geoff reminiscing to the times he would carry around a pager clipped to his belt loop. This was the biggest form of communication for people in the 90's and was widely available as many mobile device companies began to introduce their version of the tool.

Going into the 90's it was not too common for families to be able to have various television in the house like we do in modern times. He recalled the overly humongous the television use to be and not referring to the size of the screen. Most TVs were not fit with the LED and LCD screen we are us to watching today. The technology was not as advanced so being able to show a moving picture required a lot more space. He referred to this enormous pieces of technology as pregnant televisions referring to the large box that was often attached to the screen.

I chose to interview my older sister and she shared with me a device that was near and dear to her heart. My sister and I share a deep love for music and often bond over songs of the past that remind us of our childhood. She started off by saying that one of her favorite pieces of technology was the walkman. This magical CD player was something that seems excessive to younger generation but switching between CDs was one thing that my sister and I always seemed to love. Enjoying a CD front to back without a shuffle option seems unheard of nowadays but my sister loved every second of it.

We shared a laugh about the first time we saw Apple release the iPod. The transition from having a CD stick out of your pocket or backpack to having unlimited access to any song you want seemed amazing. Our love for music grew even more now that we were able to pick any song at any given time. The iPod "changed pop culture forever" were the words of my sister.

It is insane to think anyone was born in that year, making me feel old. My brother's favorite piece of technology is the Quest 3. A virtual reality headset allows my brother to enter a new world and is able to design it to his liking. I have never attempted to use it but after this interview it seems like a really useful tool. He explained to me all the advantages of using virtual reality to study, practice, and maximize efficiency in any aspect you wish to improve at. The Metaworld is a new and growing space that allows younger generations to creat their own world. This is something that people of the past could only dream about.

Simple things such as sweeping and mopping have now been replaced by robots. We purchased a Roomba and he takes every bit of advantage when using this thing. The Roomba both sweeps and mops for him. The convenience of this little robot makes all the difference, as we can program and activate it from our iPhones. As I interviewed him, I explained that this chore was something I would spend countless hours on as a child and he looked at me with zero sympathy as he set the Roomba to rove around the house and pick up his mess. This device is a game changer and shows how far we have come with technology
