I love knowing the meaning of colors. There were many explanations but I really liked this one because it showed how it's used and it gave facts about different colors. Understanding the power of color really helps me understand student's art and allows students to express themselves without using words.

I love it because I love the art that is already in the movie. In this piece, she is going from one world to another, from her home to the Other Mother. The point of it is to look kind of scary, to look interesting to the person watching the movie as Coraline goes through the tunnel from one world to the next. Including a pop of color in your image will have a powerful impact because it creates a strong focal point that instantly catches the eye. ... Whenever you are taking photos, keep an eye out for neutral colored scenes that have a pop of color in them that you could capture in your composition.

basically i chose that to show why i love adding color to art and how it'll define a peice of work.
