I choose the topic of other tools since I want to enhance the usage of available resources that we have. I believe that with the help of these tools would make my classroom more interesting and interactive. 

Based on what I’ve learned, tools would be beneficial for learning since it showcases interactive learning and collaboration between Learning facilitator and students. 

Let’s talk about the tools that I've studied today during our Ansych session.

First would be Canva. 

Canva is an interactive tool that I, as a learning facilitator, loves to use. I believe that maximizing canva for making powerpoint presentations is interactive and fun. My students also use canva in creating their presentations or group work since canva enables them to work collaboratively. There are also available templates that are free to used by anyone.

Google drawing is one of the available tools for teachers and students to create, edit and enhance pictures or videos for presentations. It is basically a tool for editing.

Mentimeter 

I usually used a mentimeter for my check in questions and gathering data or information before, during and after my class session. I also explored a lot of available options provided in mentimeter such as creating word cloud, polls and quizzes.

Slido 

This is a new tool for me and I’ve learned that Slido is a quiz platform where we as learning facilitators can use in our class. We can also conduct live polls such for classroom votings.

        Now, I will use this opportunity as APEC LF to learn more about the technological tools, to be a real 21st century teacher, and to integrate myself in today's paper and pen, which are technological and online tools. - Asian Cutie

I often use Google Classroom for my students to check the EG’s, activities, and announcements. I tend to maximize this tool and my time to post any updates regarding the Experiences and Checkpoints.

It is a challenging but rewarding experience. For me, these tools will help the Learning Facilitators and Students for upcoming changes we will have.

 

I watch videos on Google, LMS and in Other Tech Tools. It became interesting for me to watch more about Other Tech tools as it helps me to be more equipped on the tools I may use on facilitating classes. The students will connect and collaborate with each other during discussion. These sites can be used in creating visuals and have collaboration tools. It makes students more interested and engage in discussion.
