Dear teachers Ms Flora, Mr Derek, Mr Long and Mr Koh, who taught me English, Science, Chinese, and Math respectively last year for PSLE, I am very grateful for all of your efforts and contribution to teaching us. All of you made my classes 100x more fun and honestly your classes were my favourite tuition in my entire life. I will never ever forget the memories that I have forged in the entire of last year. Because of all of your classes, I have been able to achieve such a great score in PSLE, even topping in the entire Singapore and finally making it to my dream school, Raffles Girls School. Every time I felt hopeless and down in the dumps, all of you kind teachers will never hesitate to encourage me on. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. Without you, I would never be able to get where I am today. I don’t think you all might still remember me or know of my achievements, but I am truly very thankful nevertheless. Until one day we will be able to meet again. :)

To Ms Flora, from my Wednesday English class, who always had to put up with me and my annoying-ness and ridiculous questions during class. You really made our class way more fun, as you were always suuuuper kind and engaged with us in such a funny way. Although i was really such a clown, and I didn’t really put in effort into my English worksheets, you never scolded me at all and always brushed it off. In the end, i scored AL1 for English, even though i nearly failed every English MS worksheet. Yay! Ps. (Sorry for all the wrong things i did :’( )

To Mr Derek, from my Saturday Science class. Thank you so much for being able to keep your temper so well and being so sweet and thoughtful all the time. Although the boys in our class were so rowdy and always misbehaved all the time, you were always calm and made sure that they couldn’t disturb us who were actually studying. Because of you, my marks for science really improved, and i even got AL1 for science for PSLE!! :D

To Mr Koh, from my Saturday Math class. I will never forget you and your advice. Every time you told us your life experiences, i would always be listening in awe and inspiration. You are one of my role models in life because of how great you have achieved in your life, and because your methods of teaching are always superior to any other math teacher. Although your methods might be a bit complicated sometimes, they were very very useful during exams, and i even have learnt the secondary school algebra method in advance because of you. I struggled a lot in algebra, but your teaching always made it better and easier for me. Now, i always score top in class for algebra. Without your teaching, I wouldn’t have been able to score 95+ for Math for PSLE. When i told you i got AL5 total for PSLE through WhatsApp, you were very proud and encouraged me to go to RGS, even though i was very hesitant and worried about life in RGS. Your advice spurred me on and got rid of my worries, that’s how I was able to start secondary school in such a prestigious and amazing school. Thank you so much Mr Koh. :)

Dear Mr Long, who taught me Chinese. Thank you for being such an entertaining Chinese teacher who’s always patient and thoughtful. Every time I almost failed my Chinese spellings or practice worksheets, you would always comfort me and tell me everything would be alright. I will always remember that moment where you tested me Chinese Oral, I was shaking like a leaf and stuttered in every sentence and was almost in tears. You immediately noticed it and calmed me down, assuring that everything would be alright. After telling you about my non-Chinese environment, you nodded your head understandingly and encouraged me, preventing me from worrying so much about my Chinese Orals. In the end for PSLE, i approached the Chinese Oral with a hopeful heart and i swiftly completed it. Although i did not achieve my goal for Chinese which was AL1 and got AL2 instead, I know that you will always be proud of me, despite whatever marks i got.

In conclusion, thank you so much, my dear teachers, and my MS classmates, who never failed to cheer me up during classes. I will hold all of you close to my heart forever. :)

Ms Mavis Tan has helped me to widen my vocabulary for English compositions and had done her best to improve my skills in writing. She had changed my perspective of English and writing and made it something fun. I found a passion in writing and would come up with amazing ideas for compositions within a minute or two and this is all thanks to Ms Mavis Tan for enhancing my imagination.

Mr Albert Kang is a very responsible and patient teacher. He makes lessons interesting by conducting experiments for science. He will make use of science apparatus for my class and gives us hands-on experience. He also keeps strong focus on helping us to learn well and improve. He is very kind and approachable. He knows that I am in NSG and am unable to attend lessons on time, and he will stay back to teach me what I had missed. Thank you Mr Albert Kang for your dedication!

Mr Lester Yee has helped me to enhance my mathematical abilities and quick thinking skills within my first few sessions with him. He would often do his best to explain clearly to me. Thank you for being the most wonderful Science teacher I had ever met. I always hated Science for the boring questions and teachers who don't quite bother about us. You reminded me how Science could be so fun!!
