         <title>Multitasking</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One thing that I have trouble with during conversations is not multitasking. I keep on thinking of different things while the other person keeps on talking, so in order to get over this difficulty, I will try to clear my mind while talking to others so that their words are the only thing on my mind, and I will practice that when I want to have good conversations. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I tend to find myself over explaining something or trying to say too many things at once which jumbles up my words and makes what I’m saying confusing. To fix that I can focus on the more important details, and leave out the ones that are unnecessary or can be assumed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is most challenging for me because I don’t have the best memory and I tend to forget things easily, especially thing I’ve said. This leads me to repeat myself either in one conversation, or over a period of time. Typically when someone calls me out on it I will stop, but it is hard for me to realize I am repeating myself.</div>]]></description>

So when someone is telling me something, I will be listening to them, but I will also be trying to think of something else at the same time, such as something about the upcoming football practice, or the homework assignment that I have to finish later. </div>]]></description>

I also tend to repeat myself when I feel nervous or when I am trying to think of something to say, which makes it seem I am rambling on and on about just one idea and not letting the conversation flow naturally.<br>In this class, I will try to be more aware of what I am saying and not to repeat the same idea over and over. I will also think before I speak, so that I will not have to remember where I was going when I bring up a certain point.</div>]]></description>
