Additionally, the ALNCO writes and works on learners IDP's ensuring they are up to date and that all information gathered/used is from all persons involved with that learner.

As a teacher, I have seen how the SENDCo is a valuable source of information regarding strategies to assist students that are struggling academically and socially. The SENDCo will also have a comprehensive picture of how students are achieving and how provision is supporting them throughout the school.
