The first step of this project was very simple. All I had to do was line up each letter with the orange guidelines that they gave me. This was just a template for the luggage tag they had. Next, I got a little ahead of myself and went ahead and made my own custom tag.

This is the tag where I got ahead of myself. I didn't change the colors of the tag, I just put my own name, and the year I graduated from the undergraduate program at NC State. Once I hit 'next' in the directions, it told me that I was finished.

Because it told me I was finished, I decided to restart the lesson and follow more of the guided design steps. I completed the template tag that they had us follow. Again, orange guide lines were used to show me where I should place the numbers and letters.

Once I created their template for the luggage tag, I decided to add my own customization to it. I added a bright pink color as the tag color, and then plain white for the letters, just for some contrast. I think this lesson was pretty cool and simple. Which is a great lesson for beginners to use when starting with Tinkercad.

The first thing I noticed for this project was how Tinkercad has all of the shapes that you might need divided into categories. This made it fairly simple to find the shapes that I needed to create the ring.
