         <title>Decreasing Resting Heart Rate</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Resting Heart Rate is the number of times your heart beats in 1 minute while your are resting. The Cardiac muscle will have increased in size, therefore it is able to pump more blood from it meaning it isn't having to pump as quickly or as much. The lower the resting HR the healthier the heart.&nbsp;<br><br>-Fit adults may have a resting heart rate below 60 and some elite endurance athletes have resting heart rates below 40.<br>-A healthy resting heart rate for adults is 60-80 bpm.<br>-An average adult resting heart rate range is 60-100 bpm but recent &nbsp;<br>large studies and meta-analyses show health risks are increased at a higher range.<br>-To lower the resting HR, you have to have done cardiovascular exercises to increase the size of the heart(Cardiac Muscles).&nbsp;<br><br>A sporting example of 'Decreasing Resting Heart Rate' is a long distance/marathon runner as their Cardiac muscle needs to be large in size to be able to cope with the demand of increased blood flow to provide working muscles with oxygen.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:</strong><br>Aerobic fitness refers to your ability to transport and utilize oxygen, measured by VO2 max, the maximal amount of oxygen you can use during intense exercise.<br><strong>Data:</strong><br>It is recommended that participants take part in three sessions of 30 to 45 minutes of aerobic exercise weekly to help them increase their cardiovascular fitness.<br><strong>Examples:</strong><br>Sporting examples of sports that increased aerobic fitness will be used in are football and cycling, as the athletes are working for long periods of time.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The cardiac output is simply the amount of blood pumped by the heart per minute. Necessarily, the cardiac output is the product of the heart rate, which is the number of beats per minute, and the stroke volume, which is the amount pumped per minute.&nbsp;<br>An sporting example is a sport such as long distance running. A long term effect of exercise is that cardiac output increases because of cardiac hypertrophy, allowing the heart to contract more forcefully. </div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Increased Cardiac Hypertrophy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Description:</strong><br>Cardiac hypertrophy is where the heart increases its muscle size and Blood volume, this is in the result of regular cardiovascular exercise. When we exercise the wall of our left ventricle thickens which strengthens the beat of the heart.This results in more blood getting pumped around the body to where it is needed, meaning that more oxygen is sent to working muscles which allows the muscles to continue working for longer. <br><strong>Example:</strong><br>An example of an athlete that will need a stronger heart is a 5000 M runner. If their heart is stronger, more blood will be pumped around the body and more oxygen will diffuse into the working muscles so they will be able to run at a high intensity for a longer time.<br><strong>Data:<br>Data says that the heart that is untrained and unfit pumps around 25 litres of blood around the body and a fit, trained heart pumps around 30 litres. Also</strong> <strong>compared with a normal person who has a resting pulse rate of say, 70 beats per minute, the trained heart beats only 40 or maybe in some cases, 30 times per minute.<br><br></strong><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Capillarisation </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Capillary density is the number of capillaries that supply nerves to the muscles. When you exercise your capillary density will increase, this is known as capillarisation<strong>.</strong> Your capillaries provide your working muscles with oxygen rich blood and remove carbon dioxide. Aerobic exercise can increase the number of capillaries. As a result of this blood flow to muscle will increase which will give a more efficient delivery of oxygen and nutrients.A sporting example could be during a marathon because a marathon runner will be getting rid of the carbon dioxide from the body which makes them last longer rather than fatigue quicker. </div>]]></description>

Stroke volume is the volume of blood pumped from the left ventricle to the right ventricle per beat. The stroke volume increases due to the intensity of the exercise because the body demands oxygen which comes through the bloodstream.          <description><![CDATA[<div>your recovery time is the time it takes after exercise for your heart rate to return to its normal resting rate. With regular exercise you are able to decrease this recovery time and it is a noticeable sigh of how fit and healthy someone is. someone who does a lot of activity during a short period of time, so maybe a triathlete or a footballer who will train 2 or 3 times a day with one day off in a week. also with boxing you train every day for a couple of hours, with sometimes a weekend off. So when you train a lot, your recovery time decreases as you get fitter. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Blood Pressure</strong><br>Blood pressure is the pressure of circulating blood on the walls of the blood vessels. Blood pressure usually refers to pressure in the large arteries. It can be expressed as systolic dilation over diastolic pressure and is measured in millimeters.<br><strong>Description of Response<br></strong>Some people have a blood pressure level that is lower than normal. In general this may be good news - because the lower your blood pressure is, the lower your risk of stroke or heart disease. Aerobic activities demand oxygen around the body and this is transported through the veins and capillaries which expand to allow a larger volume of blood flow to the working muscles.<br><strong>Give data on effect of response<br></strong>A low blood pressure reading is having a level that is 90/60mm, or lower. Only one of the numbers has to be lower than it should be to count as low blood pressure. If the top number is 90 or less, regardless of the bottom number, this may be low blood pressure. If the bottom number is 60 or less, regardless of the top number, this may be low blood pressure.<br><strong>Give a sporting example<br></strong>A good sporting example to decrease resting blood pressure would be aerobic activities such as walking, jogging, swimming and dancing<strong>. </strong>You should not lift heavy weights without supervision from a qualified exercise trainer.
