         <title>Once the war began Britain, France, and their other alliances set up a naval blockade of Germany and Austria. This made food from these countries tough to get in America. The Wilson administration also said that the blockade violated international law, and took it to court. Britain and France responded by expanding the blockade into the Baltic. This severely hurt the US&#39;s trading experiences.                                </title>
