         <title>Congress Poster: Nanorobots</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Many people still misuse antimicrobials until these days and this increases drug resistance. In other words, the microorganisms do not respond to drugs that are supposed to eliminate them from the body and they become more dangerous for humanity.</div><div><br>If no one does anything now, the future is going to be bad for us. For instance, common infections and minor damages in the organism could be potentially mortal. In fact, according to the bar graph, it is estimated that by 2050 the major cause of death will be antimicrobial resistance as can be seen in the top of the slide.</div><div><br>That is why the principal objective of this project is to avoid that future catastrophe, in addition to the economy, psychological and social costs, with nanotechnology.&nbsp; And, you are wondering, how can we do all of this?. I invented an injectable nanorobot that is capable of recognizing every pathogen unrelated to the body through the integration of a nanochip. It contains infinite combinations of genome sequences from the microorganisms. This allows to recognize bacterias, viruses, parasites and fungus to phagocytize and transform them into kinetic energy to move inside the organism.<br><br></div><div>The nanorobots were inoculated in two groups of people: 350 immunocompromised people, or in other words, people who have very weak ability to fight infections and diseases because their immune system defenses are low. And, the other group are 350 people infected with resistant pathogens, wich means they have some microorganisms that are very hard to fight, even with antimicrobials. This research was performed for two weeks. Each person was subjected to a count of pathogens. Then, this results were graphed and averaged for each group and they were compared between before and after the inoculation. The immunocompromised bar decreased from 150 to 3,7 trillions, and the infected people's bar also decreased from 135 to 2,9 trillions.&nbsp;</div><div><br>By analyzing the results before and after the nanorobot inoculation in both groups, the bar graph shows that the average of pathogens calculated in trillions in the immunocompromised group decreased in a 97%. In the meantime, in the group of people infected with resistant pathogens the average reduced in a 98%.</div><div><br>This way, the immunocompromised patients who where enclosed in a bubble without anyone, will have a reinforcement in their weakened immune system, avoiding future infections and increasing their life expectancy.<br><br></div><div>On the other side, the infected patients could have an effective medical treatment that eliminates hard pathogens, along with a better quality of life.<br><br></div><div>These results are very promising because they demonstrated that the pathogen’s average decreased in both groups and the therapy is successful.<br><br></div><div>In summary, this proofs the nanorobot will comply the purpose of avoid the future catastrophe expected by 2050, saving millions of lives around the world and decreasing possible economic, psychological and social costs.</div><div><br>Pd: ya tenía un poco hecho desde antes jij<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Super soldier serum, a cure for muscle atrophy?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Introduction: Muscle atrophy is a disorder consisting of the wasting, loss or reduction of skeletal muscle. It is caused by an imbalance between protein synthesis and protein degradation.&nbsp; Although there are treatments to prevent the progression of this disease, there is still no cure. On the other hand, Super Soldier Serum was formulated to enhance the human body and mind, and was used by the U.S. Army in World War II to create the most advanced soldiers in the world. The formula allows to increase the strength, agility, speed, endurance, reflexes and elasticity of a normal person to the limit of human capacity.&nbsp;<br><br>Objective: The purpose of this study is to find out if the super soldier serum is effective in curing muscular atrophy and thus help thousands of people who suffer from it.<br><br>Methods: The method will consist of injecting 2 doses of super-soldered serum into the neck directly into the bloodstream of 400 young people, 200 women and 200 men between 20 and 25 years of age with muscular atrophy and without any other disease. Before starting the procedure, the muscular mass of the patient's whole body will be measured through anthropometry, and at the same time physical tests will be carried out to measure the patient's endurance, strength and agility. Three days after injecting the serum, all these tests will be done a second time for comparison and finally after two weeks they will be taken again to know if the results are lasting.<br><br>Result: The results obtained can be seen clearly expressed in this graph, each bar is the total average of all participants in the study, each variable studied is at the bottom of the bars and the different colors of the bar are to recognize the results in relation to time. It can be seen that in each of the variables, muscle mass, endurance, strength and agility increased exponentially with the passage of time, on day 3 an increase of about 80% can be observed and in week 2 a favorable increase of 200% in relation to the initial percentage. The results show that in 100% of the cases the serum was effective with no margin of error in any of the variables.<br><br>Conclusion: According to the results that were found through this research, it can be proven that the Super Soldier serum is more than a cure for people suffering from muscle atrophy, it not only helps to increase their muscle mass, but also their agility, endurance and strength, giving them back their quality of life and allowing them to live like any healthy person.<br>Miss, I am still sorting out the idea.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Congress Poster: COVID-19 vaccines in pregnant women - Catalina San Martín</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Introduction<br><br></div><div>COVID-19 produced by the SARS-CoV-2 virus is a respiratory disease that can present with different symptomatology from a cold to severe acute respiratory failure.&nbsp; This disease is spread through contact with fluids from another person carrying the virus and can present symptomatically or asymptomatically.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>Because of the extent and risks of COVID-19, a vaccine against this disease has been developed over time, however, the benefits and risks of these vaccines for pregnant women must be well known, since they are one of the groups at greatest risk of presenting severe cases of COVID-19 together with an increased risk of premature delivery and fetal death. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the risks and benefits of vaccines against COVID-19 disease in pregnant women.<br><br></div><div>Method<br><br></div><div>A study was conducted in 200 pregnant women, who were administered placebo or vaccine through a random process. They were then followed by daily telephone follow-up and weekly in-person follow-up, in which any adverse reaction to the vaccine, complications during pregnancy and reaction to the presentation of COVID-19 were evaluated.<br><br></div><div>Results<br><br></div><div>The results of the following investigation can be seen in the following graphs:<br><br></div><div>- In the first graph the presence of adverse effects can be seen, where it can be seen that the greatest adverse effect recorded was local pain and the least was fever during the day of vaccination.<br><br></div><div>- The second graph shows that complications during pregnancy remained the same in both groups.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>- In the third graph, the complications when presenting COVID-19 were much lower in pregnant women with the vaccine than with the placebo.<br><br></div><div>Conclusion&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>At the end of the analysis of this research it can be determined that there are no major risks from the vaccine, however, the benefits of the vaccine are important because it helps pregnant women to reduce the various complications that can occur with COVID-19 disease. &nbsp;<br><br></div><div>Why is this research interesting?<br><br></div><div>The interest of this research is focused on the current global contingency, where one of the most affected groups are pregnant women, being a topic that applies to our current professional life since the main thing is the welfare of both the woman and the unborn baby.<br><br></div><div><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
