I feel lots of times once we get comfortable and into a conversation it is haulted when we were just getting somewhere. I feel particularly at school based PDs we are rarely allowed to have enough time to have those conversations or they are overly structured with time sensitive protocols. Some of the best teaching and learning experiences I've had even in the classroom is when I give myself permission to continue the conversation after a short period to reflect. We often get started but do not finish. Also, I appreciate looking at data. But I think sometimes the data should just be interpreted and given to us. From there we can make decisions. Processing data takes lots of time for some of us.
