These different biomes in the northern are known for there could regions. They have cold long winters and short cool summers. The earths tundra is home to different varieties of different plant and animals. These animals have to adapt to these such harsh environments. Some of these animals are polar bears, arctic foxes, as well as a variety of different plants. They have to be experts at finding food because of the harsh winters.

These are very dry climates that don't get much rain. These dry locations have special plants and animals to live in this harsh environment.  These animals have to adapt to little water climate. There is animals that can store water such as camels, cactus and some varieties of frogs found. the desert have some mountains and plants but not much.

In many cases it can be vast, expanding across millions of square miles, or kilometers. there isn't as much animals but there is a lot of small rodents and large animals. some of the largest land animals to exist on our planet right now live on the grasslands. That is including American bison, elephants, giraffes, and so forth. some of the animals have to adapt, say giraffes there isnt much trees for them so there isnt much leaves for them to eat.

These places are easily reconized by their abundance of lifeforms. some lifeforms including numerous  trees plants and ferns. they got a lot of insects, spiders, snakes, monkeys and other animals and plants.The tropical rainforests are important to the overall health of the planet Earth. and are  responsible for replenishing a significant portion of the atmospheres oxygen supply.

Its no surprise that these biomes are more common the closer ones to the north poles. usually the biome is found high up on the mountains and the temperatures are cooler and lower and winter is longer. common lifeforms living in this biome are very green trees, small mammals such as rodents, large mammals such as moose and deer and a variety of insects. Some are spiders and plant life
