As a researcher, you will consider a range of basic questions:
What is research?
What makes an effective research design?
What makes a good question?
How might that question be usefully investigated?
How can a question be investigated ethically?

Having explored some of these questions you will want to revisit your proposed research and reflect on the strengths and weakness of your selected approaches. Perhaps you might imagine it 'otherwise' - even if only to reflect on your planned resesarch from a different perspective.

This 'Kick starting your research' series will provide you with reading materials and invitations to respond to short writing tasks, questions and provocations.

You will be encouraged through these activities to tussle with complex ideas in real time zoom calls and in a virtual exchange with fellow candidates in this padlet.
