Once, it would have been controversial, but not in this day and age. The cool thing about this one is the colors and composition: it looks burned, like someone lighted a fire and slowly went through every pixel, until all was left was this masterpiece.

Also, the anatomy is great!

Ottalie agarró con más fuerza el brazo de la joven Ivanova, impotente. 

Cumpliría con sus palabras, pero la idea de llamar la atención de toda la sala de una manera tan negativa la detuvo. Además, el charlatán probablemente estaba en lo cierto. Esta gente no parecía de humor para ayudarlas...

She has a background in animation, so it would be easy to understand why.

But my favorite thing about her work are the character designs. They look like everyday people, but better. They’re colorful and you can feel their personality with a simple glance. These skills are only obtained after years and years of practice.
