I got sober on October 6th of 2020 and for that I am forever grateful. When I gave my life to God and things changed dramatically for me. I was starting my life back over again. I began to sit in alcoholics anonymous meetings and listened to what others had to say about the disease itself. I became intrigued to discover that I too have went through these similar experiences and kept coming back to know more about what exactly keeps others sober. It's one day at a time, one minute at a time and one second at a time. I then began contributing my time to helping other alcoholics recover by sponsorship. I dedicate most of my time helping the next alcoholic that still suffers.

I am making a difference by helping and staying compassionate. Life on life's terms can be very difficult to overcome those dealing with anxiety and depression. Nobody should have to go through this alone. I believe strongly in asking for help when stricken with negative thoughts. It's so rewarding for my soul when I help others in a time of need. I like contributing to service work and reminding others that it's never too late to look up at the stars and light. Sometimes we all need small reminders that life is extremely beautiful if we look beyond the chaos into a new light. This makes me feel proud to be able to express my testimony to others. It also makes me proud that I have the opportunity to listen and give great suggestions to those who seek better perspectives.

Suggestions and clarity. Sometimes just being present and listening is better than giving advice. A lot of individuals tend to keep a lot inside and never talk about the real problem that they suffer with. I always remind others to live in the solution. Give comfort and always love. John Lennon was not kidding when he mentioned in his songwriting that "all you need is love." It works! It really does.

MY INTENTION

I want to be creative always. I have strong desires on writing my story with dreams of publication. I love poetry, I have dreams of becoming a poet and singer songwriter. Lately I have been writing a country album about recovery in hopes that it will grasp the mind of someone who is suffering that can relate to the lyrics. I want to keep reaching the ones who need help using the tools and resources God has provided me with. I truly want to become an inspiration.

WHY

I just want to be free, free of myself and my own burdens. Being of service to others sets my heart and soul free so I can become a better person.
I have always been vibrational, the fact I can put a source of words out there whether in a novel, story or song helps me express my own feelings when I put them down on paper. This is my form of expression.
It forms a different light for my own healing, I gravitate towards a different realm when I write things down and share them.
I don't want to stay stuck in my own head. When my negative thoughts arise most of the time my first thought is always wrong. Service work and writing helps me stay connected to what really matters and keeps my mind busy.
Fellowship and friendship with others is always a plus. By telling my basic introduction to others in most circumstances, they always want to stay in touch. It's a blessing for me to meet new people.
